We're Hiring:
Data Center Technicians - Mesa, AZ (Mission Critical Mechanical / Electrical position) Exiting news! We just opened a brand-new data center in Mesa, AZ and we are on the lookout for talented Data Center Technicians to join our team. Data Center Technician (Mechanical/Electrical)Workplace:
On-site — Mesa, AZSchedule:
12-hour shifts; 2-2-3 shift alternating days/nights (6a-6p) and nights (6p-6a)Pay:
$38.00-$50.00 hourly base; overtime-eligible; plus night shift differential.Benefits:
PTO, medical/dental/vision, life and supplemental insurance, STD/LTD, FSA, 401(k) What you'll do- Monitor and maintain mission critical mechanical, electrical and fire/life/safety systems: HVAC/chilled water systems, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps/valves, and building monitoring and controls.
- Support critical power: generators, switchgear, UPS, and power distribution to customer load.
- Perform preventive/corrective maintenance, inspections, and rounds; document work orders and escalate issues promptly.
- Operate tools and diagnostics (multi-meter, infrared camera, BMS/PLC/monitoring systems) to troubleshoot and restore service.
- Follow safety procedures (LOTO, arc flash) and support Fire Life Safety systems and testing.
- Collaborate with peers/vendors to complete tasks, improve reliability, and minimize downtime. What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with large commercial/industrial mechanical systems (e.g., chilled water plants, HVAC/CRAC/CRAH) and critical power (generators, UPS, switchgear).
- Proficiency with monitoring/control systems (BMS/PLC) and standard hand/power tools; ability to read procedures and equipment documentation.
- Strong safety mindset (LOTO, NFPA70E practices); clear written/verbal communication and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders/raised platforms, with or without reasonable accommodation.
