Data Center Technician Massed Compute Greenwood Village, CO Job Details Contract 11 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Customer communication Responding to infrastructure failures Full Job Description About Massed Compute Massed Compute is building a modern GPU cloud platform for AI and high-performance compute workloads. Customers choose us when they need high-performance infrastructure with more flexibility, visibility, and support than they get from traditional options. Our work sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure, product design, systems thinking, and customer obsession. Massed Compute seeks hands-on Data Center Technicians for contract (1099) roles to ensure sites run 24/7. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining hardware, fast problem resolution, and delivering excellent client service. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on work, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in completing technical tasks.
Primary Duties:
Rack and stack data center equipment such as servers, networking gear, monitoring systems, and hardware Run cabling, including Cat6a installations Repair and troubleshoot equipment regularly to minimize downtime Provide excellent client service by addressing questions and technical issues promptly Read and follow schematics for network installations and upkeep Maintain clear records, including network diagrams and equipment logs Diagnose hardware problems related to networking and failed components Offer on-call and on-site emergency support as needed Participate in training to develop new skills and stay updated on technology
Requirements:
Service technician or similar data center experience (1+ year preferred) Strong understanding of computer networking, including LAN setups and Ethernet Familiarity with GPU systems; electrical experience is a plus Strong problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail Effective communication skills for working with clients and teammates Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation Experience supporting on-call technicians and responding to critical events Dependable and trustworthy character Interest in learning new data center concepts and technologies IT or telecom certifications are a plus
