Description TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician to support ongoing operations within a HPC environment while an engineer is away on paternity leave. This is a 6 month contract in Shelton, CT. HPC experience is not required but is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- On-site technical support for the HPC environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure)
- Hardware repair, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting
- Administration and operational support for HPCM cluster management (nice to have)
- Support for the DMF storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team.
- CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability
- Supporting the site administrator as needed Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Shelton, CT.
