Due to continued growth in large-scale data center builds , the team is adding multiple QA/QC professionals to support field quality, commissioning readiness, and construction compliance across complex electrical and mechanical systems. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands construction quality, field execution, and system-level coordination in mission-critical environments. What You'll Do Support QA/QC oversight on data center construction projects (electrical, mechanical, and structural systems) Perform field inspections to ensure installation meets drawings, specs, and codes Verify compliance with construction documents, submittals, and project specifications Support commissioning activities and turnover documentation Identify and document non-conformances (NCRs) and track resolution Conduct site walks with contractors, engineers, and project teams Support punch list development and closeout processes Review installation quality for electrical systems (power distribution, conduit, equipment install, etc.) Ensure compliance with NEC, project standards, and client requirements Assist in maintaining quality documentation, reports, and field records What We're Looking For 3+ years of QA/QC or construction quality experience Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial construction Strong understanding of construction drawings and field installation practices Familiarity with electrical and/or mechanical systems in construction environments Experience with field inspections, punch lists, and QA documentation Ability to work in active construction site environments Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards in the field Preferred Experience Data center or mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred Electrical construction or MEP systems exposure Familiarity with commissioning processes (Cx) and turnover documentation Knowledge of codes such as NEC and construction quality standards Experience working with general contractors, owners reps, or EPC firms Compensation & Benefits Salary up to $115,000 (based on experience) Full medical, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunity to work on large-scale data center projects Long-term growth in mission-critical construction sector Additional Work Requirements Must be able to work on-site in Dearborn, MI and active construction sites If not already local to Dearborn, MI or surrounding area then must be able to relocate at own expense.
