This role involves supporting critical operational technology environments within the utilities sector, including distribution, transmission, and nuclear applications. Database Administrator II:
Support and maintain enterprise database environments supporting operational technology within a utility organization Administer Oracle and SQL Server databases across development, test, and production environments Support PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB environments as needed Perform database backup, recovery, performance tuning, patching, and upgrades Collaborate closely with application support, infrastructure, development, and architecture teams Requirements for theDatabase Administrator II:
5-7 years of hands-on database administration experience preferred Strong hands-on experience administering Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases Experience supporting databases across test, development, and production environments Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or MariaDB Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and Shell/KornShell What's in it for you?
