ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Receiving Specialist supporting SpaceXAI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely receipt, inspection, and processing of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components). You will ensure incoming shipments are verified, transacted, labeled, and staged correctly to support construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive all materials/packages and transact receipts in the ERP/WMS system; process hold or exception packages as required Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantities, and specifications Create/print routing labels and other required identifiers for received material File and maintain accurate records of incoming paperwork and documentation Interface with carriers, internal customers, purchasing, and other departments to resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues related to receipt and distribution Document non-conformance occurrences in accordance with prescribed procedures Perform cycle counts and review stagnant inventory reports to ensure location accuracy Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate return shipments and reverse logistics Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment per safety procedures Maintain good housekeeping in receiving and staging areas Support material flow to construction and operations teams, including kitting and staging as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency certificate 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience in a receiving role Experience in a high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, technology, or data center environment Experience with ERP systems and scanning equipment (RF scanner, handheld scanner, etc.) Experience operating a forklift and other powered industrial equipment Experience with the control of nonconforming hardware and related processes Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; frequent lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying required Must be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Work schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating) Must be open to working all required shift hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 operations Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the shift Comfortable working in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures, noise, and dust SpaceXAI is an equal opportunity employer.
