: Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Development Associate provides administrative and operational support for the fundraising and marketing programs. The position supports fundraising growth through maintaining the fundraising database, coordinating logistics for events and campaigns, preparing donor communications and Agency reporting, as well as supporting marketing and outreach efforts.RESPONSIBILITIES
: Maintain the donor database including accurate input, updating donor information, and generating necessary reports for the Development and Finance Departments. Ensure timely and accurate processing of gifts and donor acknowledgment (within 2 business days of receipt), while maintaining data integrity across all records. Under the direction of the Director of Development and Director of Major Gifts, create lists and run database queries to provide information and reporting for electronic and printed appeals, mailings, events, and other projects. Provide administrative and clerical support for the Development Department, including but not limited to meeting coordination, minutes, filing, data entry, correspondence, and mailings; assist with production of electronic and printed materials. Assist with coordination of special events associated with Agency fundraising goals, including logistical planning, implementation, follow-up, maintaining relationships with vendors, and adhering to budgetary requirements. Support the Director of Development in managing special event sponsorship, attendance, and recognition. Assist in soliciting in-kind support for events and Agency operations. Support community members, such as volunteers or affinity groups, with planning special events and initiatives. Support and facilitate volunteer activities for the Agency. Assist with preparation and implementation of Agency-wide events (annual meeting, program-focused events). Support the maintenance of social media accounts, email campaigns, web content, as well as electronic and print Agency publications/collateral materials. Provide direct administrative support to the Director of Development and Director of Major Gifts as needed. Seek out and willingly accept additional duties and responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS
: Associates degree and three (3) to five (5) years of non-profit development, administrative and database experience required. A Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience. Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills as well as a high level of computer literacy. Prior experience working with a donor database is strongly preferred, and familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media management is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Ohio driver's license with two (2) or less moving violations.Benefits
