Job Description

Benjamin Franklin High School is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Development Database Coordinator to support the school's fundraising and advancement efforts. This is a part-time, hybrid position (25 hours per week) with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on organizational needs. Salary is commensurate with experience This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, values accuracy, and wants to play an important role in supporting philanthropy and donor engagement. Job Specific Expectations Maintains the overall database integrity and quality, including routine data improvement, data auditing, system checks, and database functions. Performs database functions including gift entry, address changes, analysis on fundraising progress, and donor trends and report running. Processes gift acknowledgements daily. Maintains record storage. Performs database updates with entries related to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors. Provides timely and accurate reports using the fundraising database. Develops and maintains queries and exports for direct appeals, email campaigns, publications, events and ad hoc projects. Participates in the compilation and production of documents for the annual report. Prepares datasets for monthly pledge reminders. Coordinates distribution of materials to staff and volunteers. Tracks guest attendance for special events. Receives and processes confidential and sensitive information with discretion and in accordance with established guidelines. Provides assistance and support to volunteers, as needed. Coordinates a variety of donor mailings. Prepares materials, including reports, memos, forms, correspondence, and/or presentations. Document and maintain database policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as required.
