Job Description Insight Globals client, a system integrator is seeking an experienced Mainframe Database Administrator (DBA) to support the operations, maintenance, and modernization of a large-scale Integrated Eligibility System (IES) serving public assistance programs. The Mainframe DBA will administer and optimize IBM DB2 for z/OS databases that support critical eligibility, enrollment, benefits, case management, and financial processing functions. This role will partner with application development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure database reliability, performance, availability, and compliance within a mission-critical government environment.
pay range:

Skills and Requirements 7+ years of Mainframe DBA experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications. 5+ years administering IBM DB2 for z/OS. Strong knowledge of z/OS, DB2 Utilities, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, SQL, Performance Monitoring Tools Experience supporting large-scale eligibility, benefits administration, healthcare, social services, insurance, or financial systems. Experience with database backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery testing. Experience supporting public sector eligibility programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Welfare, or Integrated Eligibility Systems.
