Senior Database Developer We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support Microsoft SQL Server solutions across production and development environments. This is a hands-on development role with a strong focus on T-SQL development, stored procedures, database performance tuning, and application support . The ideal candidate has experience working with multiple SQL Server databases in a large-scale environment and enjoys solving complex database and performance issues. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database solutions Write, maintain, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions Design and maintain database schemas, data models, tables, and relationships Monitor SQL Server performance and troubleshoot database performance issues Identify opportunities to improve query efficiency and overall database performance Support multiple SQL Server databases across production and development environments Partner with application development teams on database integrations, data movement, and ETL processes Maintain database security, user access, permissions, and data integrity Support .NET and legacy applications that integrate with SQL Server Troubleshoot database and application-related issues through resolution Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the team when needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of SQL Server/database development experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Advanced experience developing and optimizing stored procedures Strong understanding of SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization Experience supporting multiple databases within a large or complex environment Experience supporting applications that interact with SQL Server Experience with .NET and/or legacy application environments Familiarity with Entity Framework and TFS is preferred Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with developers and other technical teams Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered Ideal Candidate You will be a strong fit if you are a database developer first —someone who enjoys writing and optimizing SQL, troubleshooting performance problems, and working closely with application development teams. Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
