We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong skills across Postgre

SQL, AWS

RDS, and Oracle. Ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting both cloud-based and traditional enterprise database environments and be able to work independently on database administration, troubleshooting, performance, and reliability. The strongest candidate would have deep PostgreSQL/RDS expertise while also being capable of supporting an existing Oracle environment. We're looking for someone who can provide hands-on operational support but also help us improve the reliability, performance, and maintainability of the database environment over time.

Key Skills:

Strong hands-on PostgreSQL Administration Experience. Experience administering PostgreSQL on AWS RDS. Strong Oracle DBA experience Database Installation, config, upgrades, patches, and maintenance. Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and query/database tuning. Backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies. Database security, access management, and permissions. Monitoring database health, capacity, storage, and performance. Experience troubleshooting production database issues and performing root-case analysis. Understanding database migration and modernization, particularly Oracle-to-PostgreSQL, is highly desirable. Experience with AWS database services, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure is preferred. Ability to document database environments, procedures, and operations standards. - Strong communication skills and ability to work with application, infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams. Ability to mesh well with internal teams and speak to the business side of what we're doing.

Pay:

$60.00 - $65.00 per hour
