Description AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. - Design and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems for next-generation data centers
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
- Oversee project lifecycle from conception through implementation, including budget management
- Foster collaborative relationships with hardware teams to optimize facility-equipment integration
- Guide continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance monitoring About the team

- 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of critical data center/mission critical mechanical and electrical equipment
- Experience in data center/mission critical design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center/mission critical equipment and facilities Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
- Professional Engineering or Architectural License
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
