Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking multiple Cable Technicians (T1, T2, and T3 levels) to support a large-scale structured cabling project in Bastrop, TX. Technicians will be responsible for installing and supporting copper and fiber infrastructure across production and laboratory environments. This role includes pulling Cat6A cable, installing cable pathways and J-hooks, assisting with telecommunications closet buildouts, and supporting camera and wireless access point installations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. Strong performers may have the opportunity to convert to full-time employment as the project continues to ramp up.
Must-Haves:
OSHA 10 Certification Reliable transportation Experience pulling structured cabling (Cat6A preferred) Ability to work in a commercial construction environment Ability to pass a background check Holds a state-issued
ID Day-to-Day:
Pull Cat6A cable throughout production and lab facilities Install J-hooks and cable pathways Assist with telecommunications closet buildouts Pull cable for cameras and wireless access points Support copper and fiber infrastructure installations Follow all site safety and security protocols Maintain productivity, professionalism, and attendance standards Primarily support work in Building 3 with occasional work in Building 2, all within the same site no travel required
