Job Description

Overview The Lead Data Center Technician/Foreman supervises field technicians while coordinating daily installation activities for structured cabling, fiber optic, and infrastructure projects within hyperscale data centers. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise installation crews on multiple work areas. Assign daily work activities and monitor productivity. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and customer representatives. Review construction drawings and project schedules. Ensure compliance with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC, and customer standards. Perform quality inspections and punch list management. Mentor and train junior technicians. Verify testing documentation and turnover packages. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA requirements. Manage materials, equipment, and workforce scheduling. Resolve technical issues in the field. Qualifications 5+ years of data center infrastructure experience. Previous leadership or foreman experience. Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber systems. Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
BICSI Technician Certification OSHA 30 Certification First Aid/CPR Experience leading hyperscale data center projects.

5+ years of data center infrastructure experience. Previous leadership or foreman experience. Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber systems. Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
