Job Summary:
The Program/Account Manager, Data Center serves as the primary post-sale contact for the Crusoe account, ensuring successful project execution from order placement through warranty completion. This role manages customer relationships, coordinates cross-functional teams, oversees multiple project sites, and ensures contractual commitments are met while identifying and capturing change order opportunities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary post-sale account manager for the Crusoe account. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executives, project managers, and construction teams. Manage multiple active data center construction sites simultaneously while ensuring consistent communication and project execution. Coordinate internal material releases to support project schedules. Partner with Logistics to ensure equipment, accessories, and materials are delivered on time to meet Required On Job (ROJ) dates. Coordinate service scheduling, commissioning (CX), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST). Monitor project schedules and proactively resolve issues impacting timelines. Manage warranty claims, including parts, labor, and customer communications. Prepare, price, and manage Change Orders (COs) for work outside the original contract scope. Perform traditional Inside Sales Engineering (ISE) responsibilities, including: Processing equipment orders Managing equipment procurement Coordinating submittal packages Tracking approvals Supporting all Crusoe-related projects throughout execution Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Service, and Accounting. Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, financial tracking, and customer communications.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy. Strong negotiation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and ERP/project management software. Ability to travel as needed to visit customer and project sites.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 5+ years of project management, account management, or HVAC/data center construction experience. Knowledge of HVAC equipment and commercial mechanical systems. Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle and contract administration. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and with executive-level customers.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Frequent travel to customer sites, construction projects, and ATC offices, including occasional overnight travel. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate active construction sites and data centers. Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds. Regular on-site presence in both office and field environments. On-site and in office.
