Role Description:

15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Engineering, and large-scale data migration, preferably within Pension/Retirement, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare. Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture and conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, with hands-on experience with complex legacy-to-modern platform migrations, including multiple source systems, cross-system dependencies, migration sequencing, and cutover strategy. Strong SQL and relational database expertise, with the ability to perform source-data analysis, profiling, dependency analysis, source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, ETL architecture, data lineage, and migration design, including translating business rules into technical transformation logic. Strong experience in data quality, data remediation, and cleansing, including identifying duplicates, missing/inconsistent data, invalid relationships, and ability to perform data reconciliation and validation, including record counts, financial amounts, balances, historical records, relationships, and key business attributes. Strong understanding of pension/retirement data domains such as participants, beneficiaries, employment, earnings, pension credits, benefits, payments, and related-party relationships is highly desirable. Excellent architecture and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions and collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Technical Architects, SMEs, along with ability to manage offshore Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, ETL Developers, and QA teams for design, technical walkthroughs, backlog refinement, and implementation oversight. A critical responsibility of this role is recognizing that successful migration starts with fixing the source data.
