This position will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of Qualcomm Data Center product marketing and technical marketing initiatives, with a focus on AI inference platforms and compute solutions. The successful candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of the data center and AI infrastructure landscape, including AI accelerators, compute architectures, server platforms, and software ecosystems. Additionally, they should have a strong grasp of Qualcomm's Data Center differentiation- including the
AI200/AI250
rack-scale inference platforms and Oryon based compute. To succeed in this role, the candidate must have strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical value propositions to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including hyperscalers, cloud providers, ODMs, and enterprise customers. The candidate should be able to develop and execute product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to the data center market, and leverage strategic marketing initiatives to drive product and program visibility. They must also have the ability to monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to continuously refine marketing strategy. He/she will bring integrated marketing experience building full marketing plans to execute global product marketing programs and communications- guiding teams through execution of marketing strategy for key audiences including Qualcomm regional offices, ODMs, hyperscalers, and ecosystem partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop strategies and product positioning for Qualcomm's Data Center AI and compute portfolio
- including AI inference platforms and server-class compute solutions
- in collaboration with senior management and key business unit stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis and synthesize market research across the AI infrastructure and data center compute landscape; evaluate competitive positioning against NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Broadcom, Marvell, and others; identify customer needs and make business decisions that influence key stakeholders across the organization.
- Identify market opportunities for Qualcomm's AI and compute products and support implementation of strategies for penetration into hyperscaler, cloud, and enterprise data center markets.
- Partner with product management, business development to develop proof points, technical content, and marketing plans tailored to target audiences
- positioning Qualcomm's AI and compute solutions in line with business goals.
- Leverage expert knowledge of Product Marketing principles to identify, implement, and oversee products, projects, and programs relevant to the data center AI and compute portfolio.
- Create and evaluate content and execute marketing plans
- including technical blogs, white papers, press releases, event presence, and demo narratives
- with minimal guidance.
- Develop product messaging that articulates Qualcomm's AI and compute technology value proposition, tailoring it to specific audiences including hyperscalers, ODMs, enterprise IT, and industry analysts.
- Contract and manage agencies, manage budgets, and deliver persuasive presentations to customers and partners in support of product positioning strategies.
- Maintain marketing plans and GTM project calendars; track product launches and customer ramps globally; work directly with Qualcomm HQ, regional teams, and partner marketing leads.
- Ensure measurement, KPI, and ROI goals are defined and tracked across all programs.
- Support regional teams with product positioning materials, training, and ecosystem enablement to facilitate business growth in the data center segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key ecosystem partners
- including cloud providers, ODMs, and SI/ISV partners
- to drive advocacy and influence how Qualcomm's AI and compute solutions are positioned in the market.
Level of Responsibility:
- Working independently with minimal supervision.
- Providing supervision to direct reports.
- Making decisions that are significant in nature and affect work beyond immediate work group.
- Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
- Developing and administering budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
- Exercising a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that will have substantial impact over the organization).
- Completing tasks that do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Marketing, Technical or related field.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Marketing, Technical or related field.
- 10+ years of Product Marketing or related work experience.
- 5+ years of leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives.
- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization, ideally with Data Center product exposure.
- 1+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to work with a dynamic team environment.
- Effective relationship building and influencing skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work and lead in a highly collaborative team environment, building alignment and
- consensus across product management, business development and senior management.
- Broad experience in producing high impact business-to-business marketing communications, including conferences/trade shows, channel programs, digital marketing and social media.
- Experienced in collaborating across functional teams to execute integrated marketing programs.
- Self-starter, must be resourceful, and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment.
