Architect or Civil Engineer - Construction Project Coordinator AC&M Design Construction LLC is seeking an architect or civil engineer with strong technical knowledge of architecture, engineering, and construction to join our office team. This position focuses on reviewing project plans, coordinating design disciplines, and supporting Project Managers throughout construction. The ideal candidate must be able to analyze architectural and engineering drawings, understand how building systems work together, and identify conflicts, missing information, and discrepancies before they affect field execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans, details, and specifications. Cross-check drawings across disciplines to ensure consistency and identify coordination issues. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to obtain clarifications and resolve technical questions. Prepare and track requests for information (RFIs), drawing revisions, and outstanding technical items. Provide ongoing technical support to Project Managers, helping clarify design requirements and address field questions. Keep project drawings and technical documentation organized and current, and communicate revisions to the project team.

Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. Strong technical knowledge of architectural detailing, engineering drawings, building systems, materials, and construction methods. Experience reviewing and coordinating construction documents, preferably for residential projects. Ability to interpret dimensions, elevations, sections, schedules, and specifications accurately. Proficiency with AutoCAD and PDF plan-review tools; Revit experience is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize pending items, and follow through on technical issues.

Pay:

$30.37 - $40.02 per hour
