Position Summary:
Manages all IT-related processes and systems within the Physician Compensation department, ensuring the compensation team has a functional payment system with accurate data and sufficient reporting to calculate payments to providers accurately and timely.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Manages all aspects of the Physician Compensation System (PCS), including receipt and reconciliation of data from external sources, database maintenance, data validation, quality control, and reporting/dashboard development. Leads the design of PCS data model and related structures in conjunction with IT development team. Develops and manages comprehensive project plans for system upgrades and modifications as well as acquisitions and other corporate initiatives. Responsible for extensive testing of all changes to database, calculations and reporting. Creates and maintains compensation templates that fall outside PCS automation, which include calculations needed for acquisitions and new compensation models developed by Legal Services. Oversees the technical aspects of the annual budget process. Acts as liaison between the Physician Compensation functional team and IS technical teams. Oversees access, security, and roles associated with PCS and Microsoft Teams, as well as manages team access to Lawson, Strata, Qgenda, Visiquate, Ntracts, DocuSign, and other systems as needed. Ensures IT data governance is maintained, including data lineage, documentation, audit trails, and data retention. Manages various human resources functions, including hiring, work assignments, skill development, coaching plans, and performance counseling. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions:
Maintains positive working relationships with corporate areas including, but not limited to, Payroll, Finance, Practice Operations, HR, and others as required. Fosters close cooperation between Physician Compensation and corporate Information Services. Stays abreast of new developments in IT applications and business solutions that would benefit Physician Compensation efforts. Exhibits excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills; demonstrates the ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities and situations, and follow through on the completion of assignments by deadlines.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree required. An associate degree and two (2) additional years of experience in an IT-related role (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section) may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
Licensure/Certification:
None.
Experience:
Three (3) years of physician or executive compensation experience in a fast paced, high volume, multi-entity organization required.
