MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Architect to join our team in Tampa, FL . The Data Architect will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to develop models, policies, and standards to govern what data is collected, how it is stored, arranged, and integrated for use in systems across the enterprise. This role focuses on the value of holistic systems by mapping out the interactions in a pipeline and diagramming those interactions to ensure mission success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Translating requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, data lakes, and data warehouses. Architecting ingestion and storage of data from multiple data sources, relational SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQL, MongoDB, and other platform APIs. Working with database administrators and analysts to secure easy access to data by creating database solutions and evaluating requirements. Defining data architecture framework, standards, and principles related to modeling, metadata, and security. Defining reference architectures and data flows to support integrated systems across the enterprise. Preparing detailed reports and design documents for leadership and Directorates by analyzing and interpreting data.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with preference towards Computer Science and Software Engineering. Verifiable work experience building large scale data workflows making data available to data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers. Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification. Proficiency in modeling frameworks like Universal Modeling Language (UML) Experience with the Sponsor's primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.
Clearance Requirements:
An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a
TS/SCI Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
