at Insight Global in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership, project oversight, and operational management across multiple construction programs and geographic markets. This role oversees the successful execution of individual buildings, campus developments, and large-scale projects from planning through completion. Responsibilities include managing project teams, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, maintaining schedules, controlling costs, and driving overall project success. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and operational support across assigned regional markets and projects. Lead and mentor project teams responsible for campus and facility development initiatives. Deliver hands-on management and oversight for active construction projects. Develop, manage, and maintain overall project budgets, including subcontractor, vendor, and consultant expenditures. Establish and monitor project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers to support project timelines and objectives. Oversee quality assurance and quality control efforts to ensure work meets project requirements and industry standards. Verify subcontractor performance and compliance with contract scope, project specifications, and deliverables. Coordinate required inspections and approvals with local authorities and regulatory agencies. Identify and address safety, health, and environmental compliance concerns across project sites. Proactively identify schedule conflicts, project risks, and construction challenges, escalating issues and driving resolutions as needed. Maintain detailed project documentation, site activity logs, and progress reports. Oversee multiple project sites simultaneously when required. Ensure timely correction of deficiencies and completion of corrective action items. Conduct routine jobsite walks to monitor progress, assess project conditions, and support planning efforts. Lead recurring subcontractor and project coordination meetings to align schedules, priorities, and deliverables. Issue and track corrective action notices related to quality, scheduling, or performance concerns. Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite environment. Manage punch list development, project closeout activities, and final completion processes. Drive successful project delivery while maintaining schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives.
Salary Range:
