In this role you will define, design, and govern enterprise wide data solutions, ensure compliance with DoD/SOFSA policies, and serve as the central point of contact for all data related support requests. You will partner with data stewards, program managers, and the Data Governance Council to deliver secure, high quality data that drives mission critical decision making. Basic Qualifications Generally has 8+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline. Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). Designing solutions that consider computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and overall cybersecurity principles. Experience with data administration and data standardization policies and standards. Applying data mining, data warehousing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence theory/principles. Demonstrated understanding of network access, identity, and access management (e.g., public key infrastructure [PKI]). Strong knowledge of programming language structures/logic and query languages such as SQL and object oriented design. Familiarity with secure coding techniques. Developing or recommending analytic approaches for problems with incomplete information or no precedent. Use of outlier identification and removal techniques. Implementing data labeling governance to improve discoverability and understandability. Understanding and selecting appropriate cloud deployment models (private, public, hybrid) and the differences between on premises and off premises environments. Experience in utilizing the Agile Methodology approach to systems development. Strong communication and leadership skills Desired Skills IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D)

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
