GENERAL-PURPOSE
Under the supervision of the IT, this position provides comprehensive Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support across al municipal departments, remote facilities and critical infrastructures for the City of Gallup. This includes managing desktop environments, applications, telecommunications and network connectivity across all municipal offices and mission-critical environments such as Public Safety, Judicial, and Public Works/Utilities. $25.10p/h
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Three (3) years of hands-on experience in desktop/PC support, network troubleshooting and IT infrastructure maintenance
Valid driver's license. Must meet City's insurability requirements
Other Conditions:
Must successfully pass a state and national fingerprint-based criminal history background check in compliance with
FBI CJIS
Security Policy Section 5.12.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems or a related discipline is desirable. Prior experience with Microsoft MCSE and CompTIA A+/Network+ certifications or equivalent experience is desirable
