Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the collection, storage, and retrieval of large-scale data from multiple sources, including SQL databases and data warehouses. Design and implement data administration policies, models, and standards Lead and coordinate with other team members to explain the database design and system usage Work with staff to develop software functions, including building out modules and workflows Serves as the point person for two internal systems Implement changes in database operations, ensuring data is readily available to end-users Minimize downtime of databases and ensure data accuracy Manage database access Manage data conversions as needed Support the import of data so systems reflect current information Support the development of reports and data exports as needed, including potentially for a data bridge Provide training, feedback, and support to end users Troubleshoot issues working with technical support resources for both software systems Ensure databases are adequately backed up Consistently analyze data for accuracy Maintain the efficiency of the databases by providing regular checks and data updates May be tasked with supporting other internal and proprietary systems. Oversee data quality monitoring efforts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all datasets. Lead projects related to master data management (MDM), information governance, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, streamline workflows, and improve overall data collection strategies using Agile methodologies. Conduct detailed data analysis using advanced analytics tools, SQL scripting, Python programming, and spreadsheets to support business decisions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, database design specifications, and governance policies to ensure transparency and compliance.

Requirements Proven experience managing database systems such as Oracle or SQL databases with strong database management skills. Expertise in ETL tools for efficient data integration workflows. Proficiency in data visualization platforms coupled with strong analysis skills using business intelligence tools. Solid understanding of big data concepts, including data warehouse architecture and linked data principles. Demonstrated ability in project management with experience leading cross-functional teams on complex initiatives. Knowledge of regulatory compliance management related to data privacy and information governance standards. Strong programming skills in Python for automation and advanced analytics tasks. Familiarity with database design principles, data model design, and database systems architecture. Excellent communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Ability to monitor and improve data quality through systematic processes focused on accuracy and consistency. Job Requirements Must be able to perform each essential duty of our systems. Possess hands-on-knowledge of programming languages such as PL/SQL coding. Have experience with different database software, including SQL servers, MySQL, Oracle RAC, or related programs. Must be self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task. Highly confidential. Must have supervisory experience as this position directs the work on one other staff member. $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
