Information Technology (IT) Coordinator

Job Description

General Summary:
Under general supervision, the IT Coordinator supports HTNA's IT systems, business applications, infrastructure, and end-user services across all locations. This position serves as a key IT liaison, providing technical support, coordinating with business users, IT teams, and vendors, and supporting system maintenance and enhancements. The role also provides user training, develops standard work, and identifies opportunities to improve business processes through effective use of technology.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for plant, office, and remote users, including hardware, software, network, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and business applications
  • Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for the Lebanon plant, coordinating support among local users, HTNA IT, vendors, and system/application owners
  • Support production-floor technology, including PCs, label printers, barcode scanners, tablets, kiosks, Wi-Fi devices, and other equipment critical to plant operations
  • Document, prioritize, resolve, and escalate incidents and service requests through the company's ITSM/ticketing system
  • Manage user accounts, security groups, permissions, onboarding/offboarding activities, and system access reviews
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools
  • Provide first-level support for
QAD ERP, EDI
transactions, operational reporting, manufacturing systems, and other business applications. Gather business requirements and coordinate system enhancements with appropriate IT teams
  • Train end users on IT systems, business applications, cybersecurity practices, and standard work.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, troubleshooting guides, process documentation, and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and organized 5S conditions in IT areas, MDF/IDF rooms, storage areas, and plant-floor IT locations
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers on system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and improvements
  • Support cybersecurity and compliance activities, including endpoint protection, patch coordination, access reviews, backup verification, audit support, and incident escalation.
  • Participate in IT projects, Kaizen activities, system upgrades, and business process improvement initiatives
  • Provide rotational after-hours/on-call support for production-impacting IT issues.
  • Utilize Go and See activities to understand plant operations, build strong partnerships with plant teams, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three to five years of IT, plant IT, systems administration, or manufacturing IT experience, including ERP experience
Preferred:
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment and/or previous QAD experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Technical Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, endpoint devices, printers, scanners, and basic network troubleshooting. Working knowledge of servers, cloud services, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, backups, and manufacturing IT environments
Project Management & Organization:
Coordinates projects, priorities, timelines, and action items while effectively managing multiple requests and deadlines
Communication & Collaboration:
Communicates effectively and builds strong working relationships with employees, management, cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners
Problem Solving & Customer Service:
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and provide timely and responsive user support
Process Improvement & Training:
Identifies opportunities to improve processes and technology utilization and effectively trains users in systems and standard work
Technical Documentation:
Develops and maintains clear procedures, Standard Work Instructions, user guides, and training materials
IT Service Management:
Experience using an IT ticketing/ITSM system preferred, with strong documentation and follow-up skills Ability to travel on a limited basis and participate in rotational on-call support as business needs require

  • Ensures compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Actively supports continuous improvement of workplace safety practices across all locations Supervisory Responsibility
  • No direct reports; provides project management and/or direction to cross-functional teams, plant team members, and safety committees Physical Demands & Work Environment This role operates in both office and manufacturing environments, with exposure to typical industrial conditions including noise and temperature variations.
Requires regular walking, standing, and site inspections. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Ability to conduct on-site audits, including walking, climbing, and navigating plant environments Vision abilities include close, distance, and depth perception Travel
  • Travel required approximately 10-20% for IT support across multiple locations
Pay:
$80,000.00 per year
