Duties In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in assisting the Public Information Office and the Human Resources department with the Employee Strategic Communications and Engagement Plan. The incumbent will conduct a comprehensive audit of our current internal communications landscape and develop a strategic plan that improves employee engagement, transparency, and retention. Must be at least 18 years of age. Currently enrolled as a senior in a four-year program in Communications, Journalism, or Human Resources. Or have obtained a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Human Resources or a closely related field within two years of the closing of this post (preferred). Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average and an instructor or professor recommendation. Must be available to work twenty hours minimum and twenty-five hours maximum per week starting in January 2027 for 12 weeks. Reliable transportation to and from our St. George office with occasional travel to the Summerville office. An unofficial copy of transcript and a letter of recommendation from the department head of major or an advisor. Please upload with application. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient skill with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-starter and positive attitude. Comfortable in presenting findings to internal teams. E.O.E.
