Job Description

The Connectivity Specialist is a Product Link hardware/software field specialist. This position will focus on developing and implementing plans to maintain, repair and install Product Link hardware on TTCo and customer-owned machines in the field. This position will work closely with members of the Customer Solutions team to strategize, schedule, and connect equipment as a part of our doubling services initiative. This position will also interact with various TTCo, CAT, and customers daily to resolve issues related to Product Link connectivity. The Connectivity Specialist will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. This position can be based out of any Earthmoving branch in Thompson Tractor territory. Install Product Link hardware on CAT & competitive equipment for tracking & monitoring Ability to diagnose and repair various Product Link systems to maintain reporting status & data transfer Work closely with Earthmoving Sales, Service, & Product Support teams on advanced subscriptions and hardware requirements and implement formulated plans Provide technical support on Product Link hardware for TTCo technicians Hardware/software specialist for various
CAT Connectivity Projects:
Targeted Connectivity, Convergence Program, Total Connected Assets, and others as they populate Order, collect, and account for rolling inventory to efficiently perform Product Link hardware installations and repairs Working knowledge of
CAT Applications:
VIMSpc, Electronic Technician, Equipment Data, SIS2.0, Digital Service Portal, and the VisionLink Apps Open, populate and close service calls in AX, understand how to apply service letters and warranties to the service calls Attend virtual training and field training on all of the various Product Link systems and their integrations and interactions with EM machines. Effectively communicate with internal personnel and CAT regarding Product Link hardware concerns or questions Work is normally performed on location at customer sites or on location of customer job sites. Exposure to physical risk and all-weather conditions are associated with this position. Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required. Some overnight travel is required.
