Responsibilities At SAM, you'll play a key role in transforming LiDAR and imagery into precise mapping deliverables that power tomorrow's infrastructure. You'll support utilities projects across the country and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools while learning from experts who are invested in your growth. Key Responsibilities Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products Classification of LiDAR point clouds Compilation of mapping features from LiDAR point clouds Compilation of mapping features from orthophotography Other duties as assigned Qualifications Eagerness to advance and grow in a geospatial career and a strong commitment to making significant contributions to the team Strong work ethic and work history, demonstrated integrity, and personal accountability for contributing to the team's success Excellent computer and technical skills, including MS Office Suite Electric Transmission experience preferred Microstation and TerraSolid experience is highly preferred Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skill Experience with any of the following is preferred: CAD GIS Spreadsheets Orthophotography LiDAR Point Clouds (highly preferred) LiDAR Classification (highly preferred) Mapping from LiDAR or Imagery (highly preferred) Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
