Job Description
GIS Specialist Cape Fox Shared Services dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) United States, Florida, Cape Canaveral Sep 03, 2026 Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a skilled GIS Specialist to join our team. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for managing and analyzing spatial and geographic data. This role will include developing and performing GPS surveys and environmental inventories, maintaining GIS applications and systems, creating detailed maps, and performing complex geospatial analyses. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Geographic Information Systems, a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and familiar with USAF compliant data dictionary, data layer specifications, and templates. This position offers an annual salary in the range of$70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with candidate's relevant experience, education, and skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Create accurate maps and graphs using GIS data and software. Transfer and analyze GIS data for quality control and quantifying for invoice purposes. Stay up-to-date with new developments in GIS technologies. Comply with project plans and industry standards.
