ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Extract 2D and 3D features (edge of pavement, utilities, building footprints, poles, etc.) from dense mobile, aerial, and terrestrial LiDAR point clouds. Generate Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs). Utilize MicroStation and TopoDOT to balance automated algorithms with manual drafting for maximum efficiency and accuracy. Validate extracted surfaces and features against ground control points to ensure compliance with project accuracy specifications. Organize and manage massive .las and .e57 datasets. Demonstrate a strong understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, and datums. The visual endurance to handle repetitive, high-precision digitizing while identifying noise, multi-path artifacts, and false returns. Ensure the accuracy of reports by data review and resolving discrepancies internally for assigned projects. Plan, prioritize, and organize effectively; and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff and clients. Organize, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload and work with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines, and prioritize deadlines. Collect, organizes, disseminate, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Review and compare field notes to final maps. Make corrections after quality control checks. Revise or change survey drawings, traces, and/or copy existing drawings, and complete simple calculations with specific instructions. May perform light office duties including but not limited to filing, making copies, and scanning. May carry out other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in GIS, Geomatics, Engineering, or a related field preffered. FAA Part 107 certification is preffered. 3-5 years of experience working in a data extraction role. Hands-on experience using TopoDOT and MicroStation . Experience working with varying point cloud densities, specifically data from mobile mapping systems, UAV platforms and Terrestrial Scanners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
