Summary Play an important role in supporting flock health, performance, and overall poultry operations. In this position, you will accurately weigh birds and collect samples to help monitor flock development and provide reliable information that supports daily farm operations. You will follow established procedures while handling birds safely and ensuring samples and weight information are collected accurately. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work, values accuracy, and is committed to supporting animal care and successful poultry operations. Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities Weigh birds and collect required samples on a weekly basis. Accurately document and record all sample data and observations. Maintain records in accordance with company procedures. Adhere to all safety requirements including personal protective equipment, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management. Minimum Education and Experience Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills. Preferred Education and Experience Highschool diploma or GED. Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors Perform repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours with 4 to 6 repetitions per minute in a single interval. Work in a variable temperature and ambient dampness. Walk or stand on all types of surfaces. Work with exposure to carbon fuel fumes and 100 ft on all types of walking surfaces. Stand for 2 to 4 hours with variable mobility.
