Lidar Technician I (Entry Level)

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products
- Classification of LiDAR point clouds
- Compilation of mapping features from LiDAR point clouds
- Compilation of mapping features from orthophotography
- Other duties as assigned What You Bring to SAM
- Eagerness to advance and grow in a geospatial career and a strong commitment to making significant contributions to the team
- Strong work ethic, demonstrated integrity, and personal accountability for contributing to the team's success
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including MS Office Suite
- Microstation and TerraSolid experience is highly preferred
- Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience with any of the following is preferred:
- CAD
- GIS
- Orthophotography
- LiDAR Point Clouds (highly preferred)
- LiDAR Classification (highly preferred)
- Mapping from LiDAR or Imagery (highly preferred) Our Perks
