Job Description
M&A IT Manager Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. The team works closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact. Deloitte is seeking an M&A IT Manager to join our M&A Integration & Divestiture (I&D) team within our broader Strategy & Transactions practice. In this role, you will support clients through complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and business transformation initiatives, focusing on technology. Work You'll Do As an M&A IT Manager you will help clients evaluate IT environments, define integration and separation strategies, and drive execution across transaction milestones.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading IT due diligence, integration, separation, and transformation workstreams across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Assessing client technology environments, identifying risks and dependencies, and developing recommendations for Day 1, TSA, and long-term transition planning
- Managing project plans, workstream deliverables, status reporting, and cross-functional coordination with business, finance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application stakeholders
- Developing client-ready materials, including assessments, operating models, roadmaps, and executive-level presentations
- Coaching junior team members, managing workstream execution, and supporting business development, proposal development, and practice-building activities A successful candidate would possess these skills:
