They are seeking an IT Manager to lead their local IT operations in a true working manager capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying hands-on technically while leading a small team. You'll spend roughly 50% of your time managing, mentoring, and developing a team of two IT professionals , and 50% providing technical leadership by supporting infrastructure, resolving complex issues, and driving technology initiatives. Join a financially stable, growing manufacturing organization with a family-oriented culture High-visibility role with the opportunity to shape the company's technology direction Enjoy a true working manager position that keeps you both technically engaged and involved in leadership Competitive compensation, excellent benefits, 401(k), profit sharing, and generous paid time off Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of two IT professionals while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture Provide hands-on support for the organization's network, servers, infrastructure, systems, and end-user technology Serve as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and operational issues Plan, prioritize, and execute IT projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements Oversee system performance, network reliability, cybersecurity, backups, and disaster recovery Balance day-to-day operational support with long-term technology planning and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with business leaders and IT teams across multiple locations to standardize processes and deliver scalable technology solutions Manage vendor relationships, hardware lifecycle, software licensing, and IT budgeting Qualifications 3+ years of experience leading or supervising an IT team Strong hands-on background supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, Windows servers, virtualization, and end-user technologies Proven ability to balance technical responsibilities with team leadership and project management Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Ability to travel occasionally to support other company locations #LI-EM1 #
