VPN Full Job Description Position Summary:
The IT System Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Prime IV's IT infrastructure and systems to ensure security, reliability, and scalability across the entire organization. This role supports both the Home Office and the franchise network by overseeing network systems, software applications, user access, data management, and cybersecurity protocols. The IT System Administrator partners with Operations, POS, and Vendor teams to manage integrations, oversee software performance, and support all technology tools that enable franchise and corporate efficiency. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the systems supporting franchise operations — including POS, CRM, communications, and reporting platforms — are fully functional, secure, and optimized.
Position Responsibilities:
Systems Administration & Maintenance Manage and maintain all corporate IT systems including cloud services, user accounts, and access permissions. Oversee setup, configuration, and administration of hardware, software, and network systems. Ensure system backups, data recovery plans, and uptime reliability across all platforms. Administer user access and permissions for core systems. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, implementing improvements proactively. Cybersecurity & Compliance Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect company and franchise data. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Maintain compliance with data protection and privacy regulations (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) applicable to Prime IV operations. Manage antivirus, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems across the organization. Train staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices. Software & Integration Support Support and maintain integrations between core business systems (POS, CRM, QuickBooks, and other franchise tools). Partner with the POS Manager and vendors to resolve API, sync, and data transfer issues. Oversee software license management, renewals, and version control. Support implementation of new platforms or upgrades across the organization. Network & Infrastructure Management Maintain reliable and secure connectivity for all Home Office systems and remote users. Monitor network performance, usage, and security at corporate locations. Troubleshoot connectivity or system access issues for remote employees or franchise users. Coordinate with third-party IT vendors or managed service providers as needed. Technical Support & User Enablement Serve as the primary escalation point for internal IT and technical issues. Support franchisees with select IT-related onboarding tasks (e.g., hardware setup, Google Workspace access, or approved software installations). Document processes, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to enable self-service where possible. Provide technical training to Home Office and field teams to increase system adoption and efficiency. Project Management & Strategic Support Participate in technology-related projects, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades. Partner with leadership on system roadmaps and IT budget planning. Evaluate new tools, platforms, and vendors to enhance system capabilities and user experience. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in project management, construction coordination, or franchise operations, preferably in the wellness or spa industry. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience as an IT System Administrator or equivalent role. Experience supporting multi-location or franchise-based business environments preferred. Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and cloud environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, etc.). Experience with network administration, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint management tools. Familiarity with data security standards including HIPAA, PCI, and SOC2. Basic understanding of APIs and integrations between business systems (CRM, POS, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
