Job Description

Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions IT Lead QXO is the fastest growing publicly traded distributor of building products in North America. The company is executing its strategy to become the tech-enabled leader in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and generate outsized value for its shareholders. QXO expects to achieve its target of $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth. What you'll do: Support end-to-end IT integration execution for acquisitions, from pre-close planning through Day 1 and post-close stabilization Build and maintain the integrated execution plan across all IT workstreams (identity, infrastructure, ERP, data, applications, security), ensuring tasks, owners, and timelines are clearly defined Translate high-level integration strategy and IMO structures into structured, actionable plans that teams can execute against Coordinate across Engineering, Applications, Data, Security, Infrastructure, and business teams to track progress, surface risks, and drive follow-ups Identify integration risks, dependencies, and gaps, and escalate appropriately to ensure timely resolution Drive day-to-day execution cadence, including status tracking, action item management, and preparation of updates for leadership Support preparation of executive-level updates by synthesizing points across workstreams into clear summaries Help ensure alignment between integration activities and broader enterprise priorities Maintain documentation of integration plans, decisions, and key artifacts What you'll bring: Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience Specialized Knowledge Understanding of M&A integration processes, including Day 1 readiness and post-close stabilization Familiarity with enterprise IT domains such as identity and access management, ERP systems, infrastructure, and data platforms Experience supporting cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies and stakeholders Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion), and integration patterns Skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to translate ambiguous direction into clear, trackable actions Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal Stakeholder coordination across technical and business teams Attention to detail in tracking execution and follow-through Abilities Operate effectively in fast-paces, ambiguous environments Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and priorities Escalate issues appropriately and proactively Balance attention to detail with the ability to maintain forward momentum Work independently while staying aligned to leadership direction Other characteristics Strong bias toward organization, follow-through, and accountability Comfortable working in evolving environments where structure is still being established Reliable partner who ensures nothing falls through the cracks Willingness to take ownership of execution details while supporting broader execution goals Professional certifications Program management, agile, or relevant technical certifications preferred but not required Experience 5-8 years in IT, program management, architecture, or related roles Experience supporting large-scale initiatives or integrations across multiple teams Exposure to M&A integration or transformation programs preferred Demonstrated ability to track and drive execution across complex initiatives What you'll earn Base pay range: $112,300 - $168,500 Annual performance bonus 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO, company holidays, and parental leave
Paid Time Off/Paid Sick Leave:
Applicants can expect to accrue 15 days of paid time off during their first year (4.62 hours for every 80 hours worked) and increased accruals after five years of service.
