Acts as direct support to Director of Technology in all aspects of technical infrastructure, major system operations, vendor relationships, and team leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and feature-rich member-facing technology services for a large private club.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues involving networking, virtualization, servers (on premise and Cloud), backup, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery. Assist and lead various IT projects and ensure projects are managed in a timely manner using applicable internal/external resources. Partner with the Director of Technology to oversee daily IT operations across multiple locations. Provide IT support, backfilling the help desk queue during peak volumes or staff shortages. Assist and lead in the selection and implementation of systems across various functional areas and levels. Engage with the Club's various internal and external SMEs as necessary. Manage access rights and stability of the Club's property management system, Jonas Club Software. Manage IT staff, set clear performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and workload distribution across the team. Manage and ensure clear communication with support vendors. Participate in after-hours; on call support rotation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of: System Administration (Azure, O365, and Veeam) Network Administration (Cisco and Meraki) Windows Domain Administration Project planning and management Vendor management Staff management Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Azure VDI) Current desktop and server Microsoft operating systems Additional skills preferred: Point of sale hardware (EloView, EPSON receipt printers, Stripe CC Reader, RFID Reader) Endpoint Security and MDR management (Falcon Preferred). MDM management (MS Intune, JAMF Pro, Chrome Enterprise) Jonas Club Management Support Firewall management
