Open Until Filled Brookings Municipal Utilities (BMU) is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Information Technology (IT) Manager to provide strategic, operational, and managerial leadership for our IT department. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and effectiveness of the organizations' IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems and services. The IT Manager will lead technology initiatives, oversee cybersecurity programs, support critical business systems, and collaborate with organizational leadership to leverage technology solutions that improve efficiency, service delivery, and business outcomes. The position reports directly to the Executive Vice President/General Manager. The successful candidate must be a collaborative and forward-thinking technology professional who possesses strong leadership, communication, and management skills. Experience leading cybersecurity initiatives, technology modernization efforts, business continuity planning, and IT/OT operations is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, or a related field and significant experience leading a technology department. Demonstrated success managing enterprise systems, strategic technology planning, budgets, staff development, and vendor partnerships is preferred. Industry-recognized security certifications are a plus. The salary range for this position is $125,000-$150,000 annually, DOQ.
