Provides strategic planning, capital-planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, architecture and infrastructure planning and management, auditing Develops and maintains strategic plans; assesses policy needs and develops policies to govern IT activities; provides policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers; prepares IT budgets. Identifies and addresses IT workforce planning and management issues;conducts audits of IT programs and projects; and/or ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies Receives and analyzes new support requirements, develops information system techniques, establishes criteria, and makes recommendations when procedures/guidelines do not exist for telecommunication and automation resources/requirements. Qualifying Experience:

To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Supervising a technical team in the administration, maintenance, and security of enterprise server environments or overseeing the implementation cybersecurity policies, adapting technical guidelines to resolve complex systems administration issues Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume.
