About the Role Dexterity is hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of Physical AI applications for Retail and third-party logistics (3PL). You'll own application product lines running on Dexterity's Mech platform, as well as the developer interfaces that enable solution partners to build new applications and integrations. This role combines product ownership, outbound product management, and commercial leadership. You will define how Dexterity grows in Retail and third-party logistics (3PL) through market segmentation, continuous discovery, and product and vertical-growth roadmaps. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, bringing product judgment into priority accounts and market evidence into product strategy. You will own product strategy, roadmaps, PRDs, and specifications; drive application-level decisions with engineering; and prove the product on customer floors. You will set quantitative targets, validate them in the real world, and lead flagship deployments through KPI proof, signed acceptance, and expansion. You will determine which customer problems become repeatable products and turn reference solutions, market-entry plays, and deployment learning into scalable growth. The role is scoped at Principal. Candidates demonstrating broader leadership and company-level vertical strategy may be considered at the Director level. Travel is approximately 25%. Responsibilities Product and Market Leadership Own application and developer-interface product strategy, roadmaps, PRDs, and specifications for Retail and 3PL growth Segment markets by customer, workflow, need, buying readiness, economics, and product fit to focus product and GTM investment Lead outbound discovery with customers, prospects, operators, executives, integrators, and partners to uncover needs, buying barriers, willingness to pay, and differentiated value Convert evidence into vertical-growth roadmaps across capabilities, integrations, proof points, reference solutions, and ecosystem needs; distinguish repeatable needs from one-offs and recommend build, partner, defer, or decline Set entitlement, throughput, availability, reliability, adoption, and business-value targets and hold the product to dated proof gates GTM Partnership and Commercialization Partner with GTM on ideal customer profiles, priority segments and accounts, market-entry plays, competitive positioning, and the pipeline-to-roadmap loop Join priority pursuits early to frame the operational problem, qualify product fit, lead product discovery, and keep commercial commitments grounded in product reality Build reference solutions, concepts of operations, value propositions, and business cases covering volume, automation eligibility, labor, savings, and operational impact Inform packaging and pricing with segment economics, willingness-to-pay evidence, competition, and delivery cost while the appropriate GTM owner retains final commercial authority Equip GTM and partners with the narrative, proof, qualification criteria, and objection handling needed to sell credibly Support expansion, new-logo pursuits, executive visits, and opportunity reactivation against the application portfolio's named revenue objective Product Delivery and Customer Proof Drive application-level decisions with engineering, including end effectors, multi-pick, architectures, and material-handling interfaces Own systems testing against customer box populations and turn results into specification, roadmap, and commercial-readiness decisions Lead deployments through shipment, first pick, go-live, KPI proof, acceptance, and expansion; direct field execution through playbooks, metrics, and defect escalation Own contractual acceptance criteria, FAT/SAT/UAT evidence, disputed claims, and the signed record that unlocks the commercial outcome Own the product relationship for developer-interface engagements and turn bespoke integrator delivery into a repeatable model Run a written-first cadence across engineering, field issues, product/GTM reviews, executives, and customers using measured performance and market evidence Qualifications Required 10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, and/or management consulting, including ownership of an enterprise product line in robotics, industrial automation, physical products, or a similarly complex domain Outbound product management success in segmentation, customer and prospect discovery, prioritization, and evidence-based growth roadmaps Strong GTM partnership across account strategy, product qualification, market entry, competitive positioning, and commercial outcomes Ownership of enterprise deployments from installation through KPI proof and contracted expansion - not only pilots Experience setting quantitative targets and running systems tests that prove them Experience in warehouse, parcel, or retail-distribution operations Experience working with enterprise contracts, product acceptance criteria, customer validation processes (such as
