Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Experience with vendor management. Experience working with metropolitan/long haul fiber network delivery and ISP/OSP construction.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience in telecommunications delivery and cloud network. Experience with data center operations. Secures and delivers the physical fiber and transport capacity required to grow and maintain Google's Network Backbone. Manages the acquisition lifecycle, delivery, and disconnection of layer-1 assets, including leased waves, dark fiber, bulk fiber, and IP out-of-band circuits. Responsibilities Oversee and perform fiber characterization and acceptance testings to ensure fiber paths meet rigorous Google Acceptance Standards. Create, track, and update project data across internal systems and databases. Identify and investigate operational discrepancies and driving rectification efforts on a case-by-case basis. Acts as the primary operational link with external telecommunication vendors and internal teams to ensure physical connectivity is delivered on time and within specifications.
