Job Description The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring portfolio business objectives are delivered through technology execution. This role works under the strategic direction of the Technical Delivery Director, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring solution delivery aligns with business goals, architectural standards, and operational excellence. This role works closely with architects, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to drive execution, facilitate technical decision-making, and deliver high-value technical solutions. Delivery Management Leads and supports cross-functional Agile delivery teams, including engineering, QA, DevOps, and architecture. Monitors progress, removes blockers, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Champions Agile principles while adapting delivery practices to support team performance and delivery outcomes. Coordinates release planning and delivery readiness activities. Technical Delivery Leadership Translates portfolio strategy into actionable delivery plans and execution priorities. Partners with architects and engineering leaders to evaluate technical approaches, delivery feasibility, implementation risks, and execution tradeoffs. Facilitates technical discussions that drive alignment, decision-making, and successful delivery outcomes. Applies technical knowledge to identify dependencies, constraints, and risks associated with solution design and implementation. Drives accountability for delivery commitments and execution outcomes across assigned teams. Stakeholder Engagement Serves as a trusted delivery partner for Digital Leaders, Product Owners, architects, and business stakeholders. Translates complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for reporting and stakeholder communications. Facilitates cross-team collaboration to resolve issues and support integrated solutions. Ensures business objectives and KPIs are understood by stakeholders and delivery teams. Aligns delivery expectations with technical complexity, implementation effort, and business priorities. Quality and Continuous Improvement Monitors performance and works with teams to improve quality, automation, delivery effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Ensures teams follow RSM development, security, and compliance policies and standards. Utilizes delivery metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive measurable improvement. Supports adoption of automation, AI, and emerging technologies that improve delivery performance. Talent & Team Development Mentors Scrum Masters, technical leads, and delivery team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Collaborates with capability leaders and the Technical Delivery Director to strengthen delivery capabilities and develop technical talent.   • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in software delivery.
  • 3 years in a leadership or delivery management role.
  • Proven success implementing and operating within an Agile, Scaled Agile, or Lean portfolio management environment.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, automation, and the use of AI or other emerging tools to improve delivery performance.
  • Experience with Microservices-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of
SDLC, QA
methodologies, data management, solution support, DevOps, CI/CD, Agile delivery practices, and delivery metrics.
  • Strong technical and business acumen with the ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions, evaluate solution alternatives and technical risks, identify process improvements, drive consensus among stakeholders, and improve overall delivery effectiveness.
  • Strong people leader with a track record of developing talent and creating high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to lead through technical influence and facilitate productive discussions among engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and drive execution across geographically distributed teams.
  • Execution-focused leader able to translate strategic direction into measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or related delivery certifications are preferred.
