Our client has recently acquired a new company and in the process of consolidating to one single ERP. The company they acquired has twelve active ERP's and they are consolidating down to Epicor. Our client is currently partnering directly with Epicor as the vendor who is doing all of the technical work and implementations. The need for this Program Manager is to support the business stakeholders with this project, below is an overview of the position details: Day toDay:
We are seeking a Program Manager to support one of our global Manufacturing & Technology clients. The ERP Business Transformation Program Manager serves as the primary liaison between business leadership, functional departments, IT, and the ERP implementation partner. This role is responsible for ensuring that business requirements, processes, operational goals, and performance metrics are successfully translated into the ERP solution while driving organizational change and maximizing business value from the implementation.Key Responsibilities include the following:
Program Leadership & Governance- Lead overall ERP project management activities from the business perspective, ensuring alignment between business processes and ERP system design.
- Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external ERP vendors.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and critical decisions, escalating issues as needed.
- Identify project bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans before and after go-live. Business Process & Requirements Management
- Collaborate with department leaders to document, map, and optimize business processes.
- Bridge business requirements to ERP system configuration, including integrations with Visual, Salesforce (SFDC), and other business systems.
- Ensure future-state business processes are properly incorporated into ERP solution design.
- Facilitate cross-functional business discussions and communicate requirements to implementation teams. Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Participate in IT design workshops and provide leadership updates on key discussions, decisions, and impacts.
- Coordinate communication between business functions, IT, and the ERP implementation partner.
- Track departmental action items and prioritize based on severity and business impact (Critical, High, Medium, Low). KPI, Reporting & Benefits Realization
- Define and standardize Global KPIs across functional departments.
- Ensure reporting and data requirements are captured to support monthly business performance reporting.
- Monitor productivity improvements and operational impacts resulting from ERP implementation.
- Track efficiency gains and losses to quantify net business benefits and support workforce planning decisions. Testing, Training & Change Management
- Coordinate Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-to-end business validation activities.
- Lead organizational change management initiatives to support user adoption and readiness.
- Develop and oversee business training programs and communication plans.
- Ensure successful transition from project implementation to operational support. Operational & Manufacturing Alignment
- Ensure ERP design supports manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and finance workflows.
- Promote best practices and process standardization across functions.
- Help departments make informed process and system decisions that align with long-term business objectives.

- Experience leading and supporting ERP projects o Epicor ERP experience would be helpful but not required. Other ERPs are fine

- Experience supporting divestitures, acquisitions, or mergers or carve outs
