What you can expect as our Senior Director of Enterprise Applications Perkins has just completed a massive digital overhaul, successfully implementing Workday (HCM & FIN) and a major Salesforce transformation. We aren't looking for a "maintainer"—we are looking for a visionary technologist to take this foundation and leap into the next generation of operational efficiency. As a key member of the IT Leadership Team, you will bridge the gap between high-level technical architecture and mission-driven strategy. You are a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable mentoring a developer, managing a multi-million-dollar budget, and presenting a Generative AI roadmap to executive stakeholders. Strategic Architecture:
Define and execute the long-term development strategy for our enterprise software solutions organization-wide.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of developers and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
System Evolution:
Oversee the continued optimization of our Workday and Salesforce environments, ensuring seamless integrations and high-value data output.
AI Innovation:
Pioneer the adoption of AI agents and LLM prompting (e.g., Gemini) to automate workflows and enhance decision-making across the organization.
Governance & ROI:
Establish organization-wide software governance to mitigate risk, eliminate data silos, and maximize the ROI of our technology investments.
Financial Oversight:
Manage complex capital and expense budgets, prioritizing initiatives that align with Perkins' global mission.
Executive Influence:
Partner with C-suite leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives, acting as a technical influencer across the NGO.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 15 years of proven experience in software and application development with a track record of managing teams in a fast paced environment Expertise in infrastructure management to support robust, scalable application environments. Demonstrated success with Workday (preferred), SAP, or NetSuite Deep experience optimizing the Salesforce ecosystem. Practical familiarity with AI prompting and building agents to solve real-world business problems. Expert-level knowledge of integrating disparate systems (CRM, ERP, Cloud Services) and managing cloud infrastructure. Mastery of both Agile and Waterfall development frameworks. The ability to translate complex technical jargon into a clear vision for a global non-profit organization. The following shared salary range is what Perkins reasonably expects, in good faith, to pay for the position. The applicable range could differ based on experience and qualification. $154,000.00-$217,525.00 Perkins offers a comprehensive benefits package for part time and full time employees, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Wellness programs available.
