Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
This role involves leading and coordinatingplex technology initiatives across engineering, architecture, data, and DevOps teams within a highly technical environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced, self-starting technology project manager who is confident participating in technical conversations, organized enough to keepplex initiatives moving, and personable enough to build relationships across engineering and business teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects from planning through delivery, including timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders
Track ss, deliverables, action items, and project status
Facilitate meetings and provide clearmunication to technical and business stakeholders
Identify roadblocks and independently drive solutions to keep projects moving
Support broader technology and program-level initiatives
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managingplex technology projects or programs
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbalmunication skills
- Ability tomunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with software engineering, architecture, data, or DevOps teams
- Strong understanding of project planning, execution, dependencies, risks, and issue management
- Ability to independently identify what needs to be aplished and work backward to develop an execution plan
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams
Desired skills:
Experience working in large-scale enterprise technology environments
Experience supporting application architecture, data engineering, cloud, or DevOps initiatives
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and s management
Experience with Jira or similar project/work-management platforms
Experience supporting large-scale data migration or modernization initiatives
Experience working with highly distributed or high-volume technology systems
Experience with program-level technology initiatives
Technical education or demonstrated technical experience is highly desirable
Pay range: $78.03 - $86.03 per hour
