Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Responsibilities Manages discrete technical construction scope, ensuring timely completion of all project elements. Oversees technical requirements. Defines and manages project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks; and supports, while at times leading, the project team in planning, tracking, and executing the scope from initiation through turnover. Manages project activities in alignment with Triad's prime contract, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and Department of Energy (DOE) 413.3B requirements. Reports to the Manager of Projects (MOP) and is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational management of an assigned project/program area. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, procedures, and standards related to construction and work execution within a nuclear facility. Supports development and monitoring of program budgets and provides technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources. Requirements Education & Years of Experience- Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution and 5+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Citizenship
- To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work Clearance
- To be considered, you must have an active or very recently active DOE "Q" Clearance or DoD "Top Secret" Clearance Must have extensive experience working compliantly within strict nuclear security and classification environments Prior nuclear facility and/or laboratory experience is required along with an emphasis on recent and relevant experience with security/classification protocols in a Department of Energy (DOE) and/or National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) setting where active D&D, construction, testing, and turnover was being performed under Nuclear Quality Assurance-1 (NQA-1) requirements.
