Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Readiness Delivery Lead - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is a key stakeholder in the Network Product Architecture Review Board, accountable for the operational readiness of new network products prior to deployment. The successful candidate willmunicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and ensurepliance for all new network services. This position involves interfacing directly with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and various technical teams, and has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery of new services and technologies across multiple teams

Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables

Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders

Ensure deliverablesply with Network & Enterprise Standards

Support and manage operational readiness activities and product introductions for cross-functional support teams across all Network technologies globally

Collaborate with consulting service vendors, managed service providers and internal partners to develop and transition new product introductions

Responsible for efficiency improvements by driving processes, adnce to standards, and continual process review

Manage a large portfolio of strategic and tactical projects with operational accountability for product governance, operational support model development, business case support, risk analysis, technical/architectural assessment, and knowledge management

Assemble professional documents based on existing templates and provide accurate work descriptions with assumptions and caveats

Requirements:
  • Self-starter with leadership & ownership qualities; self-directed and is accountable
  • Understands network-based technologies and demonstratespetency in technical terminology
  • Experience with release and deployment or operational readiness of network technologies; Including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MAN, Optical Core, Firewall, Proxy/Threat prevention, Load Balancing, DDI, and AAA
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to handleplex and ambiguous situations in an independent manner
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile framework & SCRUM ceremonies
  • Excellent client interfacing skills, strong verbal and writtenmunication skills and ability to work with all levels of management
  • Experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Background in Financial Cyber Security and Project Management
Desired skills:

Strong technical acumen

Ability to partner with others for the good of the initiative

Experience required in Networking-related disciplines in design, operate and implementation services

Experience working in an Agile environment

Experience in Financial Services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking) is a plus

Has participated in design, implementation, or operations of major IT projects

Pay range: $46.42 - $54.42 per hour
