Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished The IT Program Manager Expert will lead and manage multiple programs across IT. This executive role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in delivering complex projects within defined timelines, budgets, and scope. You are adept in managing stakeholder expectations, fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration, and driven by a passion for innovative problem-solving. PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint $129,000 - $168,000. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

$ 207,000 This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and our Oakland Headquarters or San Ramon Valley Conference Center based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Job Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate various IT projects to ensure they align with business goals and technology strategic objectives. This includes managing project interdependencies and ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Develop and implement strategic plans for IT programs, including setting project goals, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery. Manage program and project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and projects are completed within the allocated budget. Identify potential risks to the success of projects and develop comprehensive mitigation plans to address these risks proactively. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members from different departments to achieve project objectives. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, changes, and any issues that arise, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives. Track project milestones and assess the performance of projects to ensure they meet the set objectives and deliver the expected outcomes. Ensure project teams have the necessary resources, including personnel, technology, and tools, for timely and efficient execution of their tasks. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, communication plans, risk logs, and status reports, to ensure all project information is accurately recorded and accessible. Ensure robust project governance to ensure compliance with internal audit requirements. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of IT programs by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices.
Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience 8 years of experience in technology programs and project management
Desired:
Experience in PPM Tool such as Planisware Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills. PMP from PMI Experience with Agile SAFe Agilist SAFe Lean Portfolio Management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Experience in leading large scale complex programs to successful completion Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills. Proven ability to manage budgets and resources. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively and drive clarity in ambiguous situations Enthusiastic and driven self-starter who consistently strives to achieve outstanding results.
