IT Project Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, excels at managing multiple projects, fosters collaboration across departments, and delivers results in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in IT and healthcare operations to drive impactful project outcomes while building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus and maintain productive working relationships.
• Translate organizational needs into detailed requirements, use cases, and comprehensive project plans.
• Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet to streamline workflows and optimize processes.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on project data and feedback.
• Coordinate resources effectively to balance competing priorities and achieve project goals.
• Ensure projects align with healthcare technology standards and organizational objectives. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.
• A minimum of 8 years of project management experience, including at least 4 years in IT within healthcare operations.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Planner.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology systems like Epic, eCW, Cerner, Medgen, Methasoft, or Carelogic.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to establish trust and credibility with executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to driving successful project outcomes.
