Construction Manager- Project Delivery

Your impact We're seeking an experienced, solutions-driven Construction Manager to support complex renovation projects within a fully occupied and operational laboratory environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, can work independently, and has strong experience managing construction logistics, coordination, sequencing, and contractor performance while minimizing impacts to ongoing operations. The Construction Manager will serve as an onsite Owner's Representative, providing dedicated field oversight and for timely completion and implementation of its contractual planning, coordination, logistics, BIM, scheduling, and execution requirements. Particular attention will be given to occupied-space interfaces, disruptive construction activities, and early identification and escalation of risks that could affect operations, sequencing, or the project's critical path. As the onsite Owner's Representative, you will:
  • Provide day-to-day field oversight of renovation and construction activities.
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance with project requirements, plans, specifications, schedules, and established procedures.
  • Support review and coordination of construction schedules, look-ahead schedules, sequencing, and critical-path activities.
  • Monitor site logistics, including access, deliveries, material movement, site controls, shutdowns, and impacts to occupied areas.
  • Support BIM, trade coordination, field verification, and resolution of construction dependencies.
  • Monitor RFIs, submittals, procurement, inspections, and other construction deliverables affecting field progress.
  • Conduct regular field walks to observe progress, quality, coordination, and readiness of the work.
  • Identify emerging field, schedule, coordination, and operational risks and facilitate timely resolution or escalation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, designers, inspectors, facilities personnel, and operational stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear documentation of field activities, issues, decisions, contractor commitments, and required follow-up.
  • Provide regular reporting to project leadership regarding progress, risks, upcoming activities, and matters requiring action.
  • Support project activities through construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout as required.

Here's what you'll need Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of construction management experience supporting renovation, tenant improvement, demolition, or similar construction projects. Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, logistics, site controls, and safety requirements. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and periodic extended hours to support critical construction activities and facility operations. Proven experience managing field coordination, daily oversight, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication on active construction sites. Familiarity with project management and construction tools (Procore, Bluebeam, P6, Unifier, etc.). Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently track multiple activities, commitments, and priorities. Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ideally, You'll Also Have Experience with laboratory, research, healthcare, higher education, or other complex occupied facilities. Prior experience serving as an Owner's Representative. Experience with complex renovation and tenant improvement projects. CCM, PMP, OSHA-30, DBIA, CM-Lean, or similar professional credentials. #WestPMCM #LI-CS1

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $144,900.00 to $199,300.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
